I worked as an intern in the ULTRASOUND RESEARCH GROUP under Professor of Medical Ultrasound, Hyung Ham (David) Kim. During the internship, I studied the physics of ultrasound and ultrasonic engineering while also building a custom ultrasonic transducer. As part of a mini-research project, I designed and simulated an ultrasonic cleaning system for LiDAR sensor lens covers using professional modeling software. I concluded the program by presenting my findings to Professor Kim and lab members, receiving valuable feedback on ultrasound principles and technical presentation skills.
